Hold down public sector pay for years, then when they try to catch up they're greedy bstds. But this could be turned to advantage: award the raise on condition that GPs go back to full eve/weekend availability That'll take the pressure off hospitals.

Sackers - not one of our GPs works a five day week, even doing that would be a significant improvement.
