Taylor Swift ‘absolutely fantastic’, Sir Keir Starmer says after Wembley concert
Sir Keir Starmer has described Taylor Swift as “absolutely fantastic” after he was pictured attending her Friday night concert at Wembley Stadium.
The Labour leader shared a photograph of himself and his wife Victoria at the stadium on social media site X, formerly Twitter.
“‘Swift’ campaign pitstop,” the image was captioned.
As we know, all politicians do this kind of thing, but it leads a chap to wonder how low the voting age could become under Labour. Presumably it will remain in double figures.

May I therefore assume that Ms Swift is boring as can be?
dearieme - I assume she must be or Starmer wouldn't be there. I had a go at listening to her output to see what the fuss is about, but couldn't stand more than about 20 seconds. Sounded much like Co-op Radio to me.
A young woman who, allegedly, sleeps with a load of blokes and then makes millions of writing songs about how crap they are in bed, and becomes a global phenomenon. We've all gone mad.
Her lyrics are banal, her voice is so so and, if it were not for the background support, and dancers, everyone would wonder what the fuss was all about. Some years ago, I was lucky to be at a concert given by the young Linda Ronstadt. No herds of dancers or costume changes, and this lady blew everyone away. She was an artist. Swift is a business.

I've vaguely heard about the sleeping around, but don't know much more apart from listening to about 20 seconds of her output. I suppose if she wasn't banal we wouldn't see the hysteria, which is what I find puzzling.
