Rosie O’Donnell says Trump’s win should be ‘investigated’ as ‘one of his best friends runs the internet’
Rosie O’Donnell has said there should be an investigation after she questioned how Donald Trump comfortably won every swing state in the 2024 US election, claiming that one of his “best friends owns and runs the internet”.
The 63-year-old comedian recently left the US and moved to Ireland after Trump's return to the White House, which the star says has helped improve her health and sleep.
I'm not sure this is a gain for Ireland.

Does it matter? Ireland has thrown itself away, just like us, Sweden, Belgium, France, Germany, ...
Another plastic paddy who soon face reality when she takes off the green-tinted spectacles and looks past the Begorrah and top of the morning Oirish schtick that most tourists are fooled by.
Dublin is an expensive shithole where walking the streets after dark is like being in downtown Nairobi with all the attendant risks.
The countryside is a cow shit-filled wasteland populated by gurning simpletons where a late-night kebab shop is considered the height of sophistication.
There's a reason why so many Paddies head for the States, legally and illegally, instead of in the other direction.
The Yank lard-bucket will get it eventually.
Strangely inconsistent logic isn't it? There should be an investigation into how Trump won all the swing states but not how a senile man in a basement could have won an election? And didn't a very influential mass media and internet social media have influence then? I believe a man called Mark Zuckerberg ran something to do with the internet.
dearieme - that's my impression as an outsider, although attracting such people can't help.
Thurston - I have Irish ancestry but I've never visited and from the sound of it I won't ever visit now. It's bad if people can't walk the streets after dark, but we wouldn't do that anywhere now.
Tammly - yes it is strangely inconsistent logic, if it can be called logic. It's like stream of consciousness stuff which would be better kept quiet.
Well, at least she's a principled idiot, having done what she promised and left the USA. I think there are a few Brits who said they would leave here if we left the EU or if Boris got elected. Perhaps we could introduce them.
Sam - yes she has that going for her. A list of people who made similar claims would be interesting.
Just read her stay in Ireland is revoked.
James - oh dear, I hope she isn't heading for the UK.
