Maybe they didn't notice the wolf

Three masked men remove Banksy artwork in Peckham hours after it was revealed

Three masked men have removed a Banksy just hours after the new piece was confirmed by the artist.

The anonymous graffitist unveiled a wolf howling as the latest piece in a new animal-themed collection...

The latest artwork was situated on top of a building in Peckham, south-east London, on what looks to be a satellite dish.

I expect they just wanted the satellite dish and didn't notice the wolf. Could be more difficult to dispose of now, but Nitromors might clean it up.

Nitromors is useless nowadays, changed the formula.

Perhaps it is the first public reveal of the Masked Graffiti Removal Gang?

There's plenty of work for them... unless of course there's two tier graffiti? Tier one 'acceptable' progressive graffiti and tier two barely literate Far Right graffiti (which all politically aware people must tut tut over and want to ban and punish fiercely).

"“It’s a great shame we can’t have nice things and it’s a shame it couldn’t have lasted more than an hour.”"

Is that an example of an oxymoron?

djc - a pity. I haven't used it for years, but the old version did at least work. Messy though.

DJ - I'm sure we have two tier graffiti, but maybe Sir Tier Starmer knows more about tiers.

Bucko - it would be no surprise if the satellite dish was a publicity game because it was bound to be nicked and get into the news.

Ah art lovers! In it for the money.

By the way, I'm an expert in the use of Nitromors in restoration projects and I have to say djc is absolutely right. I get over the problem by buying modern Nitromors and adding the banned ingredient, that works quite well.

Tammly - paint stripper that doesn't strip paint sounds very EU.

A publicity game? I hope so; I’d hate to think of the unfortunate householder coming home from work hoping to sit down to a nice evening in front of the TV…

Macheath - yes it would be dreadful, no Olympics, no Coronation Street and can't even watch the news to see the story of the dish being nicked.
