Political Butlers

Peverell in his old age was still the perfect butler. He noticed nothing that he was not asked to notice.

Agatha Christie - The Adventure of the Christmas Pudding (1960)

Not a musing to be taken seriously, but it’s curious how Democrat voters in the US are not supposed to notice that Kamala Harris is the presidential spare nobody ever liked. She's the just-in-case deputy who never impressed, never achieved anything, never made an effort, never gave the slightest hint of having presidential ability or even basic nous.

Like Peverell the butler, millions of Democrat voters will presumably not notice any of this. They will notice nothing they are not asked to notice by the elites and the media. Almost as if they see themselves delivering their vote on a silver salver - to serve the Family you know.

It’s weird to watch.

There are uncomfortable parallels with the UK . . .

The seal-clapping is probably still going on as we speak...

As usual, the BBC are dripping all over them!

It's truly amazing to me that people will conform to anything,, believe anything and connive in anything, all for the sake of ideology.

In the media she is actually receiving plaudits. People have made up their mind to trust someone, and they're not going to be stopped by a little thing like reality.

Rest easy lads.
Trump is still well ahead in the states that count.
The space cadet gets caught out the moment she gives her first interview to a proper journalist rather than the human centipedes that usually cover her.
Just remember 95% of the media you watch and read hate Trump.
They're not telling the truth.
Which is why I'm instigating the Slap a Hack Game.
Until you punch these lying fuckers square in the face they will not understand how much their behaviour is ruining the society we love.
I'm not intimidation per se.
Just against journalists.
So, if ever a hack asks you a question simply reply " I wouldn't piss on you if your were Mother Theresa on fire. "
Then punch them hard on the nose.
Simples.

My eye was taken by this faked photo of Two Tier Kier. Is Guido hinting that 2TK shares a predilection with La Clinton and Kamala?

Jannie - yes there are uncomfortable parallels - mass manipulation where voters essentially adopt a servile role, only noticing what they are supposed to notice.

Scrobs - yes, seal-clapping with honking is what it is.

DJ - that's one way it will be sold, although Hillary will be fuming that she isn't the one doing it.

Tammly - and nothing undermines the ideology, nothing at all.

Sam - yes, plaudits she never tried to earn. There are a few raised eyebrows, but the blatant nature of it does tell us something important however the election goes.

Anon - yes, once she gives her first interview to a proper journalist she's in trouble. Maybe her minder won't let her do that because everything we've seen so far tells us she isn't up to it. An unscripted debate with Trump would be even worse.

James - a term worth introducing into debates.

dearieme - is that the fake boozer photo? It certainly looks like a Guido hint and he must have contacts who may know.

Oops, I forgot to include the link. Of course maybe he just wanted to imply that 2TK does a decent Sinatra impersonation.

It's quarter to three,
There's no one in the place, 'cept you and me
So set 'em up, Joe
I got a little story I think you should know

We're drinkin' my friend
To the end of a brief episode
Make it one for my baby
And one more for the road

dearieme - yes, maybe he did intend to imply that 2TK does a decent Sinatra impersonation. A just in case explanation perhaps.
