Anyone paying attention will know that Trump's current legal entanglements are political, but Alan Dershowitz gives a good summary of the 'hush money' trial with a few hints about the UK situation.
That's the beauty of 'lawfare'. Even if it doesn't result in a conviction it drags the accused through the legal process. The process is the punishment, as they say.
Lawfare, if carried out as a political weapon, is harassment. You could almost argue, in some jurisdictions, that it is a hate crime.
DJ - that's it, the process is the punishment. I don't think they care too much if they don't get a conviction as long as it ties up the campaign. It's certainly a lesson on how easily supposedly intelligent people are swayed by corrupt media narratives. The dangers ought to be obvious to Democrat voters but apparently not.

The Tommy Roboinson harrassment is one of the latest issues in the UK as well...
All they want to do is strangulate him financially, and persecute him mentally, and it's a rotten scheme all over.
Scrobs - yes, it's looking very sinister.
