Well paint me surprised And Labour, the party of the working persons, are dfferent? Bloody bigots. And the DimLebs. We have principles. And if you do not like those we have others. I see a ballot paper in front of me with "NONE OF THE ABOVE X" pencilled in. Please,God, send us some honest candidates.
Mogg was talking about insufficient housing. Well, we don't want any more new housing built, thanks, because the south of England is already virtually suburbanised and overcrowded.
And both of them missed the fact that the bulk of the immigrants are actually illegal; their first act in the UK is to commit a criminal act. And we have no idea what they are like, having come across on small boats.
More importantly, Mogg just reeled off the stats as if he had nothing to do with them. Why didn't he change things when he was a powerful cabinet minister? After P.W.'s exposition, I was expecting him to say "Well, yes, Peter, and it now behoves me to beg forgiveness from the British people, and to reveal that I have sold my estate and donated every penny to Reform UK..."
But these people are all about 'words words words"! Talking is all most of them are good at, that's why they get elected. Also being able to do something..... quite another matter as all of us can see.
Doonhamer - I don't think the parties want honest candidates and the establishment certainly doesn't. The trouble is, if better parties grow then the liars will be attracted to them.
Sam - Mogg seems to be like that, aloof, never quite part of it all.
DAD - you are right and we need to vote for it, not the words.
Tammly - yes, selling themselves and to a lesser extent their party is what they do. Actors really.
