Mr. Capone would never have let it get that bad. Gun-play in the streets over small debts and disrespect is bad for business, so he wouldn't have stood for it.
Sam - yes, he would have sent the boys round to sort it out. Joking aside, it would be interesting to compare homicide rates then and now.

It's that damned "gun violence" again. Think how much worse it would be if there was also people violence.
