We whizzed off to Norfolk yesterday and here we are on the sunny north Norfolk coast. One holiday tip worth passing on concerns the state of the roads and it's this - avoid Nottinghamshire.
And I thought Derbyshire roads were bad. Lessons learned as they say.

There's no sense in wasting money on road surfaces until they've sorted out major issues like Gaza.
The avoidance would also apply if you went to Norfolk via Kent!

When the choice presents itself we use Norfolk roads in preference to Cambridgeshire roads.
Sam - and nobody can be passionate about poor roads.
Scrobs - it may be a case of discovering counties where they aren't so bad.
dearieme - so far Norfolk roads seem okay to us and Lincolnshire roads weren't too bad.
