Flabby

UK weather: Britain to potentially see tropical warmth or monsoon downpours as 'flabby weather systems' confuse forecasters

‘Flabby weather systems’, a weakening jet stream and a ‘potent’ storm threaten everything from tropical warmth to monsoon downpours.

Headache-stricken forecasters are pulling their hair out trying to predict the Bank Holiday outlook as Britain’s wacky weather cranks up the bonkers factor.

It's odd how the global climate is never flabby. Neither do headache-stricken climate forecasters pull their hair out trying to generate forecasts running into decades.

Climate must become less flabby and more predictable as it ages.

And if it doesn't, we'll pass a law to make sure it does . . . or doesn't. Whichever suits us best . . .

“The bank holiday is likely to be mixed, there is likely to be some rain, but it is not going to rain everywhere and when the sun is shining it is likely to feel quite warm.”

Furthermore, some people are likely to go on holiday, but some might choose to stay at home. Some businesses will close completely, but others - particularly in the retail and leisure sectors, perhaps - might perhaps choose to open.

Jannie - and "flabby" will become hate speech except when it isn't.

Sam - I wonder if that bit was written by AI?

All I hope is that it pisses down with rain and stops the motorbikes screaming down past 'The Turrets' on their way to the Hastings bash for bikers...

Maybe the forecasters are flabby.

Scrobs - looks rather mixed so you could be lucky. Can't you alter an important signpost?

James - brought on by deep depressions.

If we do not give certain people lots of moolah, spondoolics, mazuma or dosh the climate will become rumbustious, with windies coming full falollop through the fundibold, while we wait in vain for the frabjous day.
Don't say I didn't warn you.

Doonhamer - Stanley Unwin would couldn't have put it better as we ploddy-ploddy forward into the deep fundermold.

When it's raining on the station
Please don't use the sanitation
It is not a proper thing to do

The sewage overflows its borders
Heads downhill as if under orders
To fill the bay with human pee and pooh.

dearieme - I don't think I've heard that one. Sound advice though.
