Ed sets his sights on doing even better
Sir Ed Davey rallies his Liberal Democrat army to 'finish the job' in crushing the Tory Party
Ahead of the Lib-Dem annual rally in Brighton, he set his sights on his party doing even better than its historic 72-seats General Election result in July when it tore into the previously Conservative “Blue Wall” in southern England...
“We made a massive demolition job on the Blue Wall,” Sir Ed told The Standard.
“But there is more to go.

Falling through an open door needs little skill. Picking yourself up and actually doing something is another matter.
“We made a massive demolition job on the Blue Wall,”
Err....no. The Blue Wall was built without foundations or any mortar to hold it together. In fact, it was just the old knackered Red Wall with a poor coat of cheap blue paint. When it collapsed, you were among the opportunistic pikey scroungers poking about looking for anything you could use. As you are extremely unlikely to ever build anything, Ed, you'ļl probably just lob the bricks at the Conservatives and Reform, with a few saved for Labour. The bricks won't build you a bridge to Europe, though, Ed. You need to be clear about that.
The only "massive demolition job" attributable to you was on the lives of sub-post office owners.
So the unelectable are in pursuit of the politically suicidal?
DJ - yes, Ed is making the most of his luck. He'll be close to retirement when the next election comes round too.
Sam - "you were among the opportunistic pikey scroungers poking about looking for anything you could use." Ha ha - well said, it's just what he is.
Jannie - good point, not the right party to be replacing at the moment.
