The sensible one
Rewilding at scale not ‘necessarily a good idea’, Princess Royal says
She revealed she does discuss the topic of conservation with her brother, the King, but would not say if they always agree.
But speaking to The Telegraph, the princess said: “I’m not sure that rewilding at scale is necessarily a good idea – it probably is in corners, but if you’re not careful you rewild all the wrong things because they are just the things that are more successful at growing.
“You’ve just got to live with what’s there and make sure it doesn’t get overwhelmed.”

If only she was the monarch rather that idiot Charlie boy.
I wonder what names they will acquire in the history books. Charles the Mad. Anne the Sane. Andrew the Wrong'un. Edward the Nice Chap. Harry the Embarrassment, etc.
DAD - I agree, she has more gravitas and comes across as more sensible.
Sam - a future historian might come across your comment in the dusty digital depths of the internet archives and pinch those names.
If William and Kate insist on flying with all their children and then meet a nasty end it would be open to Parliament to amend the line of succession and put Princess Anne on it as successor to Charles. For Parliament is supreme and can amend its own Acts. Even an Act that's over 300 years old especially as the line of succession has been modified as recently as 2013. Of course you wouldn't want to make a habit of it but we really don't want half-mad Harry on the throne.
dearieme - no, we certainly don't want half-mad Harry on the throne. I think it would tip him over the edge.
