Time to distinguish those who not comply

COVID-19: 'Time to distinguish' between those who have and have not had a vaccine, Tony Blair says

"It makes no sense at all to treat those who have had vaccination the same as those who haven't," the former prime minister says.

Of course Tony means it is time to identify those who do not follow the official consensus - any official consensus both now and in the future. Only tangentially related to vaccination, it's his brand of big tent totalitarian control raising its ugly head again.

Please explain how you can determine that Blair does not mean that we should be able to distinguish between the vaccinated and unvaccinated when he says that we should be able to distinguish between the vaccinated and unvaccinated. You could earn a fortune if this superpower of yours is proven to be reliable.

Well, Blair is entitled to his opinion, but my preference is for distinguishing between those who have lied in order to start murderous wars, and those who haven't.

Just a simple passport-type document should suffice, or maybe a life sentence in maximum security.

The best way of dealing with Bl**r (for ordinary people) is to pay him no attention.

By the inevitable strange coincidence(!) I came across Solzhenitsyn’s short essay ‘Live not by lies’ today. You can read it here: https://www.solzhenitsyncenter.org/live-not-by-lies

Now while it addressed different ideological concerns and times I have to wonder if some of the actions that people *could* take might not be appropriate in pushing back against He-who-must-not-be-named. Such actions people can take include:

* Will not be impelled to a meeting where a forced and distorted discussion is expected to take place;
* Will at once walk out from a session, meeting, lecture, play, or film as soon as he hears the speaker utter a lie, ideological drivel, or shameless propaganda;
* Will not subscribe to, nor buy in retail, a newspaper or journal that distorts or hides the underlying facts.

Or perhaps "Turn off, tune out, drop in (to the Police)"?

Vatsmith - it's that uncanny intuition we all have sometimes.

Sam - I wonder if he regrets that - if and when he wonders if it might define the history of his career.

DJ - yes it is the best way of dealing with him and thanks for the link, I've bookmarked it.
