David Lammy changes tune on ‘funny, friendly and warm’ Trump
David Lammy has lavished praise on Donald Trump before the US president-elect’s imminent return to the White House.
The Foreign Secretary spoke of Mr Trump’s “incredible grace” and “generosity”, describing him as “very, very friendly” and “very warm”.
The comments mark a stark contrast to his past criticism of the Republican leader, who he described as a “woman-hating, neo-Nazi sympathising sociopath” in 2018.

If David Lammy is still in politics after the next 4 years (what else could he do?) it would be interesting to see if his views alter again. Flip flops all round perhaps?
DJ - if Flip Flop Lammy is still in politics, I hope it's from outside the Cabinet where he'll have a chance to accuse Cabinet members of crawling to Trump.

Mind you I read a piece recently where the author did allow Lame-Brain one merit. Compared to his cabinet colleagues, said the writer, Lame-Brain is three dimensional. I leave you to decide whether Sir Sneir Squirmer is two-dimensional, one-dimensional, or a mere point.
dearieme - Lame-Brain certainly looks three dimensional, his head clearly is. Dimensionally, Sir Sneir Squirmer is more of a Captain Pugwash character, a few old drawings found in a drawer.
