Peter - some videos of Tesla self-driving are impressive, but they are usually on main roads and the driver always has to be ready to touch the steering wheel. A pity I reckon, because driving has become fairly tedious.
Anon - I wonder about that whenever these runaway stories crop up. Surely there is a kill switch of some kind which bypasses the self-driving software.

Sam - so would I, and check if they have to switch the plane off then back on again if it gets an upgrade while in the air.
Some time ago I had a bet with a friend that genuinely self-driving cars wouldn’t exist in our lifetimes. So far it’s looking good.
You can't just switch the engine off!?
