The Little Moon Hut
Chinese scientists spot 'mysterious hut' on far side of the moon
Scientists and engineers working on the Chang'e 4 lunar mission are going to investigate the unusual object using the Yutu 2 (Jade Rabbit) rover.
That little hut could be an alien equivalent of Thoreau’s cabin. A place to get away from it all. I'm quite envious, it seems like the perfect location for some quiet contemplation, but now the media of the world could descend on it and spoil everything.
Imagine living there, reading, gazing up into space every now and then, contemplating the mysteries of the universe. No constant media barrage, no political correctness, no creeping totalitarian nonsense, no Christmas, no coronavirus debacle. Until one day...

How do they get pictures back from the far side of the moon? I thought that the American missions had to work around that problem - complete lack of communication when orbiting the far side. Maybe the technology has come on since then.
The least we can do is start a rumour that they are in the Gobi Desert and have faked the whole thing.
I hope the hut is made of cheese as well - preferably a strong Cheddar, but a Wensleydale would go down as well, as long as there's an apple tree nearby - preferably a Cox, but possibly a Lord Lambourne or a Russet!
Splendid isolation from the hurly burly of life, but no atmosphere.
Boom boom.
It's a cube apparently. The true Kaaba perhaps?
Sam - I believe they use a relay satellite positioned so that it can see the moon exploration vehicle and Earth... no hang on, they are really in the Gobi Desert and have faked the whole thing.
Scrobs - yes a strong Cheddar or a Wensleydale would be fine. A pear tree would be a good alternative to an apple. Depends which grows best.
DJ - and no Basil Brush.
dearieme - oh dear, Hajj could become a little more expensive.
Damn, they found my shed.
James - Mars next.
Have they also found the Deliveroo moped parked around the back?
Penseivat - that may be what they are really looking for.
