Greenlit Plan

Starmer’s 50-point plan for artificial intelligence revealed

Keir Starmer has greenlit a plan to use the immigration system to recruit a new wave of artificial intelligence (AI) experts and loosen up data mining regulations to help Britain lead the world in the new technology.

The recruitment of thousands of new AI experts by the government and private sector is part of a 50-point plan to transform Britain with the new technology.

How very Starmeresque, a 50-point plan. Apparently he greenlit it too, but I'm not sure if that's supposed to be good or doubleplus good.

Sounds suspiciously like a way of justifying the arrival of thousands of Indians who are already on their way.

But can see why he might look round his cabinet one cold grey morning and hanker for some artificial intelligence.

Sam - I agree, trying to make a virtue of what was going to happen anyway. I think he'd like to replace the cabinet with AI.

I suspect that Starmer has realised that the game is nearly up. Professing growth but imposing recession has been exposed to the light of day very early on. Paying wage claims of favoured clients has emptied the coffers. Two tier justice has exposed the raw nature of 'justice' under his command.

So obviously having to give up on the magic money tree he has turned to the magic bureaucracy tree, just needing the AI 'plan' to get there. How soviet. How MUKRA.

A 50 point plan for artificial intelligence, created by the naturally stupid

DJ - we need those MUKRA hats!

Bucko - there are probably only 5 points, but they have to be repeated over and over again.

Years ago an American girl, who worked in the same field as me, said "the British really do have the best sense of humour in the world; but they couldn't plan their way out of a paper bag."
Her words have echoed down the years in my memory.

Tammly - she was right, impractical people are attracted to planning like wasps to jam.
