The Powers That Be have lost complete control over 'all the news that's fit to print'. Yes, there's a lot of rubbish on social media - but there is a lot of rubbish on the approved media.
Look at how the official Net Zero is unwinding. Look at how people were stampeded into official COVID restrictions. Look at how the BBC is losing licence payers.
The genie is out of the bottle and won't be put back without totalitarian control. The Powers That Be will still try though.
He's got hold of a few simple ideas about the internet, and is using some basic actorly skills to fake sincerity. Sounding off, but with no depth of understanding.
In a curious way, he reminded me of that ginger bloke who married Meghan Markle. He's working in a different area - touchy-feely emotional stuff about being damaged - but he gives the same impression of having memorised some lines and some basic techniques regarding delivery.
DJ - I hope the genie is out of the bottle but yes, he seems to well on the way and proving particularly tricky to put back. Totalitarian control does seem to be the preferred option for putting him back.
Sam - somehow Gore's voice gives him away, like a market trader selling fake watches out of a suitcase. That ginger bloke seems to be well on the way to going round the bend though He was probably never up to being a royal and should have dropped out of sight to take up painting or something.

For a bloke who's spent his whole working life spouting such rubbish, he seems to have grown quite chubby on all those ridiculous meetings!
Total nutter!
Scrobs - chubby and rich, he's made pots of money as a professional nutter.
