A lesson on queuing?
Universal Studios: What can we expect from a potential UK theme park?
Universal has theme parks in Florida, California, Japan, China, and Singapore, and is considering adding a European destination to its portfolio: Bedford, England.
Universal Destinations & Experiences - which, like Sky, is owned by US company Comcast - said it had acquired land in Bedford and was "at the early stages of exploring its feasibility for a potential park and resort at this site".

Bricks. Bedford was famous for brickworks.
Have they bought an old clay pit, I wonder?
dearieme - it looks like the right area so possibly they have.
"at the early stages of exploring its feasibility"
Aren't you supposed to aquire the land, after you've determined that the project is feasible, not before?
I see it a lot when newbies join car groups on Facebook. 'I've just bought this car, are there any known issues?' Dude, you should have checked that before buying the car...
Bucko - that's what I thought. Maybe they know it's feasible but had to secure the land before taking it further.
@Bucko: I suspect they're about to get a hard (and very long) lesson in the vagaries and frustrations of the UK planning system.
Fetch popcorn...
@Peter - Yes, that could get interesting
Peter and Bucko - that could be more entertaining than the theme park itself.
