How interesting
MI5 has warned that Chinese government 'agent' has been 'active' in UK parliament, MPs told
Iain Duncan Smith told the Commons that Speaker Lindsay Hoyle has written to MPs to let them know he has been contacted by MI5 over the matter.
I don't suppose we'll ever know, but it would be fascinating to have a peep at the information passed on. Maybe it included assessments of individual MPs for example. Bound to be interesting.

Well, Corbynite and BLM supporter Barry Gardiner has received huge sums of money from her. I'm absolutely sure, though, that a person of such integrity would not have accepted it if the intention was that he undermine our country and its culture.
"Bound to be interesting." Is that a subtle allusion to MPs who enjoy bondage? I think we should be told.
This is a bit of a "dog bites man" story. I would be more surprised if foreign nations did not have spies in our midst. The only surprise to me is that the spy has been uncovered and that somebody cares enough to warn politicians.
I am reminded of the breathless claims that Russia interfered with US elections. What nation does not interfere in foreign elections?
Sam - yes, his integrity shines through all than money like a beacon.
dearieme - it wasn't but it is now.
Andy - yes we all do it, although oddly enough this one came just in time to give Boris something to wag his finger at.
