Easter Optimism

We're off out into Derbyshire soon. A wildly optimistic thing to do over the Easter holiday, even on a Saturday, but we're up for it. We'll go early enough to get a car park space, although getting out when we return may not be quite so easy, but we're up for it as they say.

While strolling through the limestone crags, musing on this and that, I may even come across a fragment of Starmerite, the mineral with no known uses apart from cheap gaslighting.

Very light rain at the moment, but the coffee shop beckons and I'm sure it will stop soon. Optimism - that's the way. Off we go!

Or Reevesite which leaches away the strength of surrounding minerals.

Actually Reevesite does exist - but it's not Labour Reevesite.

Have a great day! Be careful not to pick up any Lammite. It's black and very dense, and can cause men to grow a cervix. I'd also steer clear of Raynerite, which is extremely rough and coarse, and apparently useless for building houses.

Brave pair ... admiration for tackling the Easter Saturday crowd.

Love your definition of Starmerite.

DJ - ha ha, I bet those leached minerals eventually crumble and anything built on the ground beneath collapses into rubble.

Sam - ha ha, Lammite and Raynerite sound equally useless for anything practical.

James - we're back now, but cars were flooding into the car park when we left.

Tammly - thanks, it's one slight advantage of a useless PM, making fun of him.
