UCKG: Church pastor tells boy 'evil spirit' hides in him
A UK branch of a Christian church has been secretly filmed trying to cast out evil spirits from a 16-year-old.
A Universal Church of the Kingdom of God (UCKG) pastor was seen reciting what looked like so-called "strong prayers" to rid the boy of a demon.
An interesting idea the BBC could try. To judge from its output, it must have quite a few evil spirits worth casting out. The "strong prayers" of its critics haven't made much difference.

There's a thin line between sect and cult... and people in the sect are the least appreciative of of where that line sits.
Same with the Woke. They deprecate the 'violence' of others but don't seem to recognise the violence in themselves.
I wonder if there is a common cause?
It would need a bloody good exorcist to get rid of Lineker, who seems to be able to do and say what he wants. I wonder if he's got any black on someone on the top floor?

I wouldn’t trust any human today to cast out demons … very, very shaky ground today. As for a camera … bizarre.
Since my wife became a priest, I have met many beings who could properly be described as demons. Most of them occupy senior roles in the Church.
DJ - I think woke folk fail to recognise the violence in themselves because that's part of the attraction. Like a furtive aspect of survival, attack the enemy before they even know they are the enemy.
Penseivat - I've wondered about that too. I've not watched MOTD for years, but Lineker doesn't make the show his own in the way that Clarkson owned Top Gear. Lineker is not obviously essential to MOTD.
James - I'm not sure what they expected to see with the camera.
Sam - I don't know why I'm not surprised, but I'm not.
To be fair, believing in demons is less bat sh*t insane than believing a man can become a woman. We can all see that some people are possessed by some sort of fundamentally evil animus, the evidence of their actions is all around us. Calling that force within someone a 'demon', that can be removed from the individual by divine intervention, is indeed a stretch, but less of a stretch than saying wearing a dress and chopping your d*ck off makes you a woman.
In 21st century Western society the former gets you ridiculed (and maybe even prosecuted) the latter gets you a seat at the tables of power.
Sobers - I agree, demons are at least a good analogy of what possesses evil people. Belief in demons is optional too, but the modern world doesn't do optional.
