Charles warns of ‘dangerously narrow window’ for green recovery
The Prince of Wales has warned there is a “dangerously narrow” window of opportunity in which to tackle climate change.
Surely he means 'dangerously narrow windows'. He may not have been counting over the years, but he must know there have been many such windows, all desperately critical.

You can't expect a bloke who got into Cambridge on a couple of poor A levels, (art and some other rubbish) to be eloquent.
When he opens his mouth, we do something interesting!
Perhaps he's correct as all the other windows have slammed shut, leaving him out in the cold.
Scrobs - same here, we would never trouble ourselves to listen to him. Or buy his produce.
Andy - I wonder if he's miffed about William grabbing the headlines these days?
Even the idea of a window is a bit odd. It would mean that we could act too early; we must wait until the time is exactly right.
Maybe he's right, though. Make an announcement before Attenborough and Greta have softened people up, and you just look like an eccentric royal dilettante.
A narrow(?) window before everybody finally twigs and this whole racket ends in tears. Well, I still hope though the past two years have severely tried my already limited confidence in humanity.
Sam - ha ha - you are right, the idea of a window is a bit odd. Maybe he knows nobody pays attention anyway.
djc - the past two years have also tried my confidence in humanity. Destroyed it would perhaps be more accurate.
