COP26: Boris Johnson 'very worried' climate conference will not be a success
The prime minister said he believes the agreements can be done but is concerned that it will be very tough as he spoke to schoolchildren ahead of COP26 starting on Sunday.
A complete disaster would be far better of course, but the usual miserable failure will have to do. Still far better than anything the climate faithful would count as success. They may have to keep on gluing themselves to the M25. Boris should join them. And Prince William. And...

I watched about 5 minutes of that talk - it's on Guido. A transcript would read as if he was completely insane. It's amazing how ruffled hair and a fake stammering delivery can reassure us. "Oh, it's only Boris!"
It's come to something when we prefer the PM to be a clown rather than a serious-minded accomplisher of tasks.
Of course it will not be a success.
If it was it would be the last one.

Sam - and yet he is good at it. I still find it difficult to dislike the man as thoroughly as I know I should.
Doonhamer - yes, 26 of them is a pretty big clue.
DiDn't Prescott once get an agreement? No, not that one, somwhere in Tokyo or some place?
Wonder what happened to that, it's over two-hundred yards away from his hotel...
Maybe he drove there then?
The worry for the country is not that the summit? is a failure but that Bojo carries on with his 'Britain leading the way' theme, costing us all dear and putting the country at a huge disadvantage, his recent utterings are not good, lunatic springs to mind.
Scrobs - ah yes, Two Jags Prescott. I bet he didn't walk.
Wiggia - yes, Bojo seems intent on dragging us deeper and deeper into a lunatic world.
