The idea is to part fill the module with rainwater then use it in a similar manner to the old style bath although it is intended that old soaps and bathing gels will not be used with the PAM. Instead, it is envisaged that PAM users will rub themselves down with healthy, aromatic and sustainable bundles of dried grasses.
The boffins have also developed a luxury warming accessory for those who wish to add that special touch of swank to sustainable Net Zero living.

Anon - I was going to add a paragraph about making candles from certain sustainable fat sources but decided against it.
I've heard that 'oop North, they keep their heat-pumps in the bath.
Is this going to coin a new phrase? Something like "throwing out the baby with the bathwater"?

Candles certainly could be problematical, what with us all being expected to go mostly vegan to ‘protect the planet’* and respect animal rights (which means beeswax is out too). I suspect your possible solution is not unrelated to my fear that the lunatic fringe may yet make Soylent Green a possibility.
I expect we’ll eventually be told to get up and go to bed with the sun to save energy - good luck with that one in Aberdeen, say - and stitch ourselves onto our clothes for the winter with a good slathering of goose fat - sorry, vegetable oil. At least medieval peasants and cavemen had animal skins and products to help them along...
*my father always used to say that the planet will be perfectly fine and if humans wipe themselves out by their actions it will probably be an improvement.

Macheath - thanks. When you mention stitching ourselves onto our clothes for the winter, it reminds me of a thought I had only a few days ago about something similar advertised for older people. It was like a sleeping bag in a chair from which people read, watch TV etc during cold winter days.
