If shown on the gogglebox today it would raise millions from the suckers who respond to the innumerable "send us your cash" advertisements. Few of said suckers seem to take into account what these ads cost and how little actually gets to the "deserving" cause after all those expenses and plush offices have been paid for.

Some nice little touches in there. I liked the idea that they still get some opposition from the Church.
But yes, there are few enterprises so evil that they can't attempt to elicit sympathy.
Jannie - I'd be surprised if many people even check how much disappears in expenses and plush offices before they donate. Huge salaries too.
Sam - and all the not-quite-evil enterprises need is good PR.
