But we don't need MPs who are not worth consulting

Owen Paterson row: Labour to force vote on banning MPs from paid consultancy work, says Keir Starmer

Boris Johnson has declined to apologise for his handling of the row after ex-Tory MP Owen Paterson was found to have breached lobbying rules over his £110,000-a-year private sector work - but admitted the situation could have been "handled better".

As for MPs who are not worth consulting - I'm sure Sir Keir could reel off a list of those without too much effort.

That sounds a bit harsh. If you want the latest in antisemitism, plotting against one's leader, public drunkenness, and avoiding prison for threatening acid attacks, Keir has the go-to list.

What Labour have failed to learn, so far, is that personal attacks can also be applied in the other direction.

If Sir IKEA had chosen to work with others to reduce scandalous or corrupt behaviour and implement independent processes he would seem more statesman-like.

The BBC has a list of Labout go-tos for comment at any little snippet of non-news.

I read that Diane Abbott has trousered well over a hundred grand for appearing and spouting borrocks! Vicky Price, a convicted felon, aos gets a look-in on several occasions.

Sorry - Typo, 'Labout' should be Labour, but now it looks like a sort of pidgin version of 'layabout', so I rather like that one!

As for 'borrocks', I just can't get out of Guido's Vuukle policy that easily!

Oh, zod it, I also said 'aos', where it was meant to be a******e!

I really do need new jlassez...

Sam - I'd forgotten all that expertise although I don't think many of us could learn how to avoid prison for threatening acid attacks, even with expert instruction.

DJ - I don't understand why he is a member of the Labour party. He must know how unlikely reform is.

Scrobs - Diane's trousers could easily make a hundred grand disappear. It would need someone with big borrocks to look for it as well.
