Blah blah blah is just what we want from COP26. We may wish it to be done more cheaply and with far less propaganda, but blah blah blah would be a good outcome. It's a reassuring analysis, especially coming from such an authoritative source.

They could easily have done a zoom conference, saved all that Co2, and the BBC could have done some work for a change!

You don't get to flaunt your private plane, motorcade and large entourage on a zoom call. See, be seen, signal your virtue (and make other people pay for it).

Scrobs - yes, the absence of a zoom conference tells very clearly that the whole thing is a circus. I have my wood all ready to go - already looking forward to those cosy evenings.
DJ - that's it and so blatant too. A significant number of people must surely notice the hypocrisy. I hope so.
