Litmus Joe
Even from this side of the Atlantic, Joe Biden’s inadequacy has been obvious for some time, certainly from well before the presidential election. Apart from anything else, it adds credence to claims that he did not receive that unprecedented number of votes in 2020.
If we set aside all the arguments about voting irregularities and merely ask whether or not people would vote for such a man in such huge numbers.
If we treat the question as an opinion where some will see that Biden’s lack of credibility is an embarrassing problem with democratic implications, some will not see it and that is as far as we can go.
If we assume that a significant number of Democrats did not want an obviously inadequate president.
We end up with a litmus test.
Biden never was a convincing candidate. His unpopular running mate did nothing to improve the situation. It hasn’t taken long, but as time goes on, Biden looks less and less like a president who could ever have won the election fairly.
Impressions matter and this one seems to be creeping around the Biden presidency like a stinking vapour of rotting democratic values, the mephitic mess that is US politics.

And yet many people insist that the vote was fair...
Every world leader and his dog will be aware of this.
All the ones who do not want an intelligent person taking over the presidency will be pretending to be in awe of Joe and his remarkable statesmanship.
Certainly our msm are going along with it.
It might be that sufficient numbers of American voters actually wanted him as president. Given that the electoral process is wall-to-wall rubbishing of the opposition and spreading as many damaging rumours as possible, my guess is that most Democrats simply switched off, thought that he was probably OK because otherwise the party wouldn't have chosen him, and cast their usual vote.
That's not to say, of course, that there wasn't fraud, possibly on a massive scale; nor that the man's patent inadequacy won't become increasingly apparent now he's in office.
It doesn't help to see the awful Pelosi woman grimacing down at him - what a terrible sight!
No doubt there is some sort of mechanical device connected to the old man to help him along!
Arizona vote investigation coming soon, Democrats have already provided hundreds of lawers to try and prevent it, some saying on current projections 250 000 dodgy votes, Biden "won" by 10 000
The USA is a place of unintrospective 'enthusiasms'. Think Prohibition and Reds-Under-The-Bed.
You could argue that Trump was an enthusiasm for all the people who were disaffected by the arrogance of the Elites. You can now argue that Biden was an enthusiasm for all the 'Anyone-But-Trump' people.
I am not sure if the Presidential election was fixed (other than some limited cases yet to be proven in a court) but I believe the election was 'groomed' to provide the best possible outcome for Biden. I expect the Republicans wish they had been more effective in their preparations. I suspect the Democrats are having some regrets too. I fear America is going to reap the 'benefit' of these shenanigans. Arguably this is just the last phase of a historical pattern of High/Awakening/Unravelling/Crisis that affects societies, with the current American Crisis running until around 2030.
Perhaps we should concentrate on tackling the easy availability of Postal Voting in our own system. It is too open to 'grooming'.
I think that polling in the US shows that even a third of Democrat voters think the election was rigged. I'd say thats pretty damning. If the losers think they've been cheated, thats one thing, its a pretty common human trait to explain your defeat as a result of events that weren't your fault. But when a significant proportion of the winners also openly admit that they think they won through graft, then there has to be more to it than sour grapes.
Graeme - it's the best they can do. If Biden had been a much stronger candidate this particular angle wouldn't have arisen.
Doonhamer - our MSM are in a hole with Biden and are still digging. Hoping he appears in public as little as possible I suppose.
Sam - yes he could have received a huge anti-Trump vote, but we know there was fraud, he never was an appealing candidate and if anything his VP nomination was worse. It adds up to a large dose of suspicion in my view.
Scrobs - maybe a CGI version is already in the pipeline.
MrMC - there are grey areas too. Not easy to audit now.
DJ - to my mind postal voting should go with no exceptions. Yes the election was groomed, but I always thought Biden was an odd choice. Too old and too dim. As if the Democrats expected to lose and wanted to be rid of the old guard.
Sobers - I think it's pretty damning too. We can also add Democrats who think the vote was dodgy but won't admit that fraud may have been decisive. A few may even take the view that what happened is worse than a second term for Trump. It all adds up.
