Amazing that these types of questions aren't asked routinely. I guess politicians can to some extent control who gets to ask questions, and she writes this off as an unfortunate blip. No wonder our leaders fear the recorded encounter with the knowledgeable public more than anything else. They are defeated by common sense.

I hope Kamala can think on her feet once they give her the nuclear codes.

Sam - to some degree politicians must control who gets to ask questions in that they don't have to agree to an interview. It's disturbing that an answer to the question was easy, just waffle about severe external difficulties which are being dealt with.

It's a mistake in political debates to rely on just blaming the previous regime, Trump in this case. Or the Conservatives in the case of Labour.

DJ - I agree, it's too negative from the off, especially in this case.
