It’s October 1st, the nights are drawing in, days become cooler as the season of mists and mellow fruitfulness descends on us, so it may be worth a reminder about climate change.
Suppose over the coming years we see a global cooling trend. Suppose the trend becomes impossible to miss in spite of fudged data – what then? Those paying attention will know this already, but if we do see a sustained global cooling trend –
It will still be your fault.

I'm still saving the yogurt pots, so if they want me to start burning them to raise the global temperature, they only have to ask.
Sam - if cooling does occur, imagine the new symbol we'll see for combustible packaging instead of the recycling symbol.
Set the heat pumps into reverse - cooling your house to warm up the climate. After all we all want to do our bit even if a few OAPs die of cold...
DJ - and new studies will demonstrate that a temperature of 5C is the most healthy indoor temperature for preserving pensioners.
