Probably right in principle, but a bit clunky. I doubt if anyone will be given a print-out of their picture. Far more effective would be the lengthening of time you have to spend listening to Vivaldi or soft rock when waiting on the phone. And subtle built in delays in delivery times, and being re-routed onto buggier software when online. Slower phones and computers.

In today's news, though, we see that multiple individuals can make repeated complaints about a serving police officer committing serious sex crimes, and nothing gets done. So maybe we are some way away...

Sam - I imagine the print-out may be standard procedure, rather like a parking ticket. Tells you why you have been blocked from whatever.

It's difficult to believe that his colleagues didn't already know there was something not right about that police officer when the complaints were made.
