Political lies

Lies about personal history are quite easy to spot for anyone determined enough to do a bit of digging. Lies about economic performance and the effects of policies, however, are really hard to pin down. It involves researchers in reams of statistics, half-truths, semantics, and counter-claims about their own methods and ability. And the main problem is that it's just not as funny and satisfying to catch people out. I guess there will be more digging in politicians' pasts now that people are on social media all the time.

Sam - yes, I thought the video should have stayed with lies about personal history. As you say, these are quite easy to spot. They are also enough to determine who is unfit for the role, as Joe Biden clearly is.
