What a hollow victory.
Any news of the players who took ill?

Doonhamer - I didn't follow it, I just wanted to make a point about it still being called the Australian Open.

Australian Open? Never heard of it.

I see that the BBC looked into the positive PCR test that the Serb chap claimed to have had. They dance around trying to imply that it was bogus without quite saying so. I suppose he's rich enough to sue. Or maybe they're holding something back in hopes of tempting him to sue.

BBC vs the Serb: pity they can't both lose.

James - yes, Australian Closed would be more apt.

dearieme - hard to tell with the BBC. Implying without quite saying so is a standard BBC approach so they may be holding nothing back at all.
