Grate branes not kneeded

Prince William criticises billionaire space race after William Shatner's Blue Origin flight

The Duke of Cambridge says the focus should be on repairing the Earth, not trying to find "the next place to live".

In an interview ahead of his inaugural Earthshot Prize, the Duke of Cambridge told the BBC: "We need some of the world's greatest brains and minds fixed on trying to repair this planet, not trying to find the next place to go and live."

If we don't have "some of the world's greatest brains and minds fixed on trying to repair this planet" there may be a reason. It is just possible that the climate game doesn't attract them. William could even ask himself why those great brains do not see the issue as important enough to take a professional interest in it.

Old engineer adage. Maybe not apparent to an MA in Geography, with double patched elbows on corduroi- appropriately (apparently not). . Wonder if he found out what happened to all the pink bits? (Ooh err, missus)
If it ain't broke, dont fix it.

Excellent. Now try applying this idea to immigration into our country.

It's a strange concept 'repairing the Earth'!

I guess that anyone investing in the 'global warming' scam have made their profits and got out years ago!

Because this 'space thing' is in the news so much at the moment, William is in danger of making the same mistakes as his dad did, when 'architecture' was on the agenda.

Best stick to keeping the Royal Family intact first, methinks.

What a twit! The potential for farming and manufacture, as well as energy production in space is boundless. The space borne industries would create unimaginable wealth and cause a dispersal of human population from earth. Of course this is in the medium to far future but should be considered by mega brains like the Prick.

Oops, sorry autocorrect at work again. Should have been Prince not Prick. Probably. Even if he supports a proper football club. UTV!

Doonhamer - it's just an impression, but engineers seem to be more sceptical about the climate game than almost anyone else.

Sam - as we know, immigration can't affect him in any meaningful way.

Tammly - yes it's virtually meaningless.

Scrobs - William seems to be making even worse mistakes already because it could all go sour and make him look foolish.

Andy - Prick is close enough unfortunately.
