"Shuns accountability"

We all knew that when Kinnock was up there, creaming the non-job, getting huge money and ignoring everything which took him to task for his ineptitude.

same goes for Mandelson!

Creeps the lot of them! Better out than in!

Good to see this.

Booker and North (& me), have been saying this for thirty years.

Superb speech. I loved the shots of the listeners while he was speaking. Wry smiles, gentle eye-rolling, tongues poked into cheeks, as if what he was saying was a type of fey waywardness that needs to be gently humoured.

During and immediately after the Brexit referendum, I used to ask vocal pro-EU supporters who funded the European Parliament, what the function of the Commission was, or who headed the European Council, and so on. not one person could ever answer correctly, but there was a lot of bluster about keeping the peace in Europe, being able to import decent coffee and pasta, etc.

Scrobs - yes, it's what the EU became years ago, a way for elites to earn pots of money and avoid responsibility. I wonder what Kinnock actually did?

James - it is.

Tammly - it seems clear enough that the EU parliament was never intended to be genuine. A faked-up talking shop, yet EU fans seem to think it is real.

Sam - I'm not surprised you never had correct answers to questions like that. People don't do the spadework, as if the sentiments are more important to them than hard information.
