Another small step

Damp walls and poor insulation: Thermal images show life inside England and Wales' coldest neighbourhoods

A new series of thermal images by photojournalist Grey Hutton - and released by Friends of the Earth - shows the impact of the energy crisis in some of the 100 coldest neighbourhoods in England and Wales.

As we know, Friends of the Earth is one of the outfits pushing the orthodox climate change narrative. In their small way, they helped cause the problem, yet even a cold spell can be turned into a virtue-signalling stunt.

It feels more sinister than that though. Imagine local councils with thermal imaging inspectors for example. Another small step towards your house not being your house in any meaningful sense.

The houses which lose the most heat are those occupied by keen horticulturists intensively hydroponically growing their cash crop under banks of electric lamps.
I wonder if Gray or FotE reported these really deprived and suffering house occupiers to the authorities.
A friendly visit by the constabulary would help the poor occupiers save a lot of energy.

Doonhamer - we've heard of a few local examples of those keen horticulturists, but the police keep taking away their produce as well as taking away the horticulturists. Saves them a lot of energy though.

I'm not sure of the purpose of that photographic exercise, but I'm now convinced that blue is bad and that goldeny-orange is a good thing. We need a goldeny-orange Tsar.

Sam - the US had a goldeny-orange Tsar but got rid of him in favour of a grey one. Should have stayed with a more cheerful colour scheme.
