You wake at half-past two in the morning, and suffer infernally from the blackest pessimism. It’s morbid — yes; but for all that it may be a glimpse of the truth. Health and good spirits, just as likely as not, are the deceptive condition.

I wonder if the huge public outpouring of support and affection for the angels when everyone stood and clapped like seals made the unions bold enough to suggest this. Barristers called off their strike because, well, who likes lawyers? But someone probably thought "Yes, they love us, they think we can do no wrong. Now, I wonder if we can monetise that before people forget..."
Sam - unfortunately, many people do seem to think they can do no wrong.
Wot's a cumunidy team?
And are they a cumunidy, or do they serve a comunidy?
Will they be missed?
Can they dance?
Why do we never see them on hospital reality programmes?
Do they have a pyramid of comunidy team supervisors, managers, and community diversity ociffers above them?
So many questions.
Doonhamer - 'community' seems to be one of those words which shouts 'bullshit'. I can't imagine applying for a job with the word 'community' in the job title, but people do.
