An interesting interview with Calvin Robinson, ranging from his personal experiences as a teacher to wider social, cultural and political problems with woke culture generally.
A very interesting interview. I'd seen CR in a few short clips before, he's very good, and of course his skin tone is a standing reproach to those on the left he was referring to.
There was an interesting bit towards the end where he was asked about what conservatives (in the broadest sense) can do to turn back the tide. It's a tricky one, because conservatism in that sense is quite strongly apolitical, valuing privacy more than the public realm, families more than activism, and steers clear of politics as a vocation. If we don't fight back they win, yet if we do fight back we lose a lot of what we value.
Sam - yes that's the problem, conservatism is quite strongly apolitical. I suspect Boris knows this and sees no future for a mainstream party which ties itself to even mildly apolitical viewpoints.
