How will the Brexit Circus finale go?

I wonder what they have planned for the grand Brexit Circus finale? Boris parachutes into Brussels on New Year's Eve trailing coloured smoke just as Big Ben begins to strike? I'm no circus expert, but having the clowns on all the time hasn't really worked.

Yes, clowns are eminently electable. People like those who make them laugh, and have sympathy with their dejected moments. Perhaps clowns hold a mirror up to us all, showing us our foibles as they act out how we would be without inhibitions.

Rubbish at the business of government, though.

I'll still forgive him everything and vote for him again if we get a no-deal, no strings attached Brexit. If not, then *sigh* it's time to dust off Nigel.

I would find it hard to forgive him for the shambolic way he and his government have dealt with Covid-19. Even now, with vaccines on the way, they contrive to make clowns seem like brain surgeons. What sort of fool buys 350 million doses of vaccine for a country with 65 million people? What sort of fool says that the first people to receive an essentially untested vaccine should be old people with dodgy immune systems? How did these people ever manage to escape from the loony bin?

They never escaped, like a tortoise they just take it with them everywhere.

Sam - I've already decided not to vote for him again. The coronavirus mess and climate change idiocy are too much for me. A strong Brexit performance only makes it 1 out of 3 unless he pulls some pretty impressive rabbits out of his hat. Maybe the Tom Bower biography will help. Might be worth buying to try making sense of the man.

Graeme - I agree, I would find it hard to forgive him for the shambolic mess too. We adapt and move on I suppose, but 2021 will have to be remarkably impressive to change my mind.

Wiggia - apparently a group of tortoises is called a "creep". Sounds about right.

Covid - a shambles.

The Green Crap - absurd.

I will forgive both the above (and much else) if we are really and truly free of the EU on 2/1/21. Really and truly free - no ifs, no buts, no jurisdiction by their wretched political court, no say over our trade policy or our internal laws and regulations, no meddling or residual authority.

But I very much fear that I won't be forgiving...

Anon - I don't think I'll be forgiving either. Track records mean something.
