Yesterday, Mrs. Vega tested positive for the Chinese Bat Flu; so that's two weeks house arrest for us all, on pain of a £1000 fine. I've already walked the dog on the Downs, quickly slipping out with a mask on and my hood up.
Interesting times, as I've not known anyone in person with a positive diagnosis before. I'll let you know whether we get anything more than seasonal sniffles.

Sam, my best wishes to you and Mrs Vega for a full recovery. I sincerely hope all turns out well for you both - at least you can avoid the awful Christmas shopping experience now!

Sam - what rotten luck - I hope all goes well for Mrs Vega. Focus on not having to do Christmas shopping for two weeks - you may find that remarkably uplifting.
We are waiting for the result of a test on our granddaughter. Although the doctor said she should be tested, what she has just looks like tonsillitis.
