I gave up on TED talks some time ago as the focus drifted from science to political correctness.
I'm glad to have confirmation that I did not miss anything important.
There are some people who will look for something (racism, sexism, white supremacy etc) and they will find it whether it exists or not. As a small observation they often talk very swiftly avoid people having time to think about what they are saying.
DJ - I've never watched TED talks but can't remember why. A fanatical determination to find doctrinal lapses seems to have been with us forever and maybe it has always attracted certain types of people. Usually unattractive people for some reason.
