Keir's Rabble Problem

BBC broadcasts interview with Diane Abbott where she claims Boris Johnson is 'rumoured to like assaulting women

  • 'Diane Abbott made unfounded claim that Boris Johnson is 'rumoured to like assaulting women'
  • In a BBC interview the MP was asked about allegations around Chris Pincher
  • The Broadcasting House episode was taken down and the claim was edited out

It's almost as if someone has encouraged Diane to remind us that Sir Keir has an uncontrollable rabble to manage if he is to steer Labour anywhere near power. She's good at that.

If a prominent Tory had said something similar about Starmer, I doubt if the BBC would have been quite so obliging about cutting it and then pretending it had never happened. Especially if the prominent Tory had a history, like D.A, of making clearly racist comments.

Sam - it's a good point, we virtually know the BBC would not have been so obliging. Crudely obvious bias, but it's not easy to know if BBC people see it.

Maybe she is just jealous because he hasn't gone near her?

Woodsy for two.
Come on. After a tumble with Jeremy Cornyn Ms Abbot needs no other stimulation.
BoJo will weight in vain.
Poor Carrie has to be reconciled to the fact that she is the consolation prize.

Woodsy - could be, her passions do seem to be part of what she is.

Doonhamer - poor Carrie, knowing she may not be the last consolation prize either.
