People have no right to be fools - E.R. Punshon
Was she attempting to affect a southern accent, y'all?
dearieme - could be, although it just sounded odd to me.
Is that like blackface but in audio or just cultural appropriation?
Woodsy - it is like blackface, but I suppose we could say that about politics generally. Pretending to have working class roots or just pretending to be normal.
I wasn't certain what she was going to do when that microphone got closer to her mouth. Must admit, was disappointed.
Penseivat - I think she was absent-mindedly close.
