Maybe the thing to do is to carry out some research on the epidemiological distinction but sadly there are better things to do such as finishing the mug of tea I recently brewed. Maybe I'll gaze out of the window for a while too. Epidemiology may have to wait.

The question is, who is paying for the Welsh lockdown? I bet its not the Welsh taxpayer.................
It's usually a 'lemon' if the BBC puts some sort of 'explanation' up.

Firebreak is a Welsh phenomenon. Torri Tân, as they term it beyond Ludlow. Circuit-breaker is an English thing. I'm waiting for the Scottish version. "Hadrian's Firewall", maybe?

Well it is a bit of a disaster.
About three days, as one of them managed to make a fortnight seventeen days.
What about a surge protector, there must be hundreds of synonyms for those two phrases, you may have started something here, the government is always on the look out for new catchy phrases.
Sobers - good point and maybe that's one of the drivers.
Scrobs - as time goes by I find I don't miss BBC 'explanations'. As you say, mostly lemons.
Sam - maybe they could just call a "Holiday".
Doonhamer - good idea - it certainly fits.
Wiggia - or taking another view of it, "house arrest" would be descriptive.
