As always a very useful scientific angle on the coronavirus debacle from Ivor Cummins. From an Irish perspective but it applies to the UK too. Mess is too small a word for it all.
Wouldn't it be great to have him in the press corps when Boris and his two stooges do their lectern act! We don't seem to have anyone of his calibre. Certainly not in a position of influence.

Irish perspectives, from the days of Dave Allen, forward in time and backward, are always refreshing.
Sam - stooges seem to be preferred by governments, as if they don't want rational outsiders rocking the bureaucratic boat.
James - yes they are refreshing. I have Irish ancestry but I've never visited.
