Sound views. I think the best criticism of the current BLM nonsense is that the outrage is patently selective. Far worse things are going on in the world than the death of a career criminal at the hands of police. My hope is that if we keep pointing this out and ridiculing the mental contortions required to sustain the "outrage", at least some people will be shamed into being sensible.

Oh, and that's a proper moustache and beard!

Sam - it is patently selective - trashing stores with Nike trainers in the window for example.

But yes I'm sure you may turn out to be right - at least some people will be shamed into being sensible. Maybe some prominent people will be shamed into saying something sensible too.

Those jumping on the BLM bandwagon need to remember that what goes around comes around. Just because BLM is the flavour du jour does not mean in 10-20 years time it won't be considered a very bad stain on ones character to have supported it. Iconoclasts need to remember that when they turn over established ideas and practices, they are merely making themselves a target for future iconoclasts.

I hope so, I really do! Oh to see all the smarmy lefties find themselves out of work and shunned by others. Sadly, I probably won't be around to see it...

Sobers - yes, many are young and do not yet understand that the next generation is likely to be unimpressed by what they did. Many will never talk about it in 20 years time.

microdave - I probably won't be around to see it either, but I might consider eating yogurt and doing yoga every day just to give myself a chance of seeing it. Or maybe not...
