Wasn't it the BBC gadfly interviewer Robin Day who infuriated John Nott by referring to him as a "here today, gone tomorrow politician"?
dearieme - I don't know why he would be infuriated by it, he must have known what a problem it is and how the Civil Service takes advantage of it where it can. Infuriated because it publicly relegated them to novices perhaps.
