Even if Burnham was J.C. risen he wouldn't be able to save us from the cliff edge we are running towards.
The outcome of today's election is totally irrelevant to the crap hole that we will be in 10 years.
Mike - that's it, a totally irrelevant election. More theatre, old scripts, nothing new.
Burnham has won the byelection. Although that is disappointing in some ways at least the ructions within the Labour party will be exposed sooner rather than later.
"More theatre, old scripts, nothing new."
Ah, UK politics defined: same shit, different arseholes. . .
There is a danger, going by current events, that in 10 years time, the HoP will be a mosque, and all that that implies. Still, those remaining at Al Beeb will be happy.

DJ - yes, a mendacious, undignified political scrap is better than a smooth transition.
Penseivat - I think mosque influence could decline over the next couple of decades as the appeal of antiquated dogma fades away.
Jannie - same smell too.
Hope you make it back in one piece.
James - thanks, we're back in sunny Derbyshire after an uneventful journey, although the M5 was busy.
Ginger biscuits and Devon cream intake will ensure that you're going to consider seriously, a long regime of exercise over the next week or so...
Scrobs - and I'll start with trying to mow the lawn tomorrow.
