Fairly heavy overnight snow in our bit of Derbyshire but it seems to be thawing. Schools closed but main roads okay apparently. Thawed off the trees already, so not very picturesque unfortunately.
We may need to clear the table before coffee on the patio this morning

Not so deep in Leicester, but I will still need to knock the snow off the sunbed...
Here it's green, wet, cool and the trees aren't moving in the breeze. So a normal winter's day.
DJ - that's the trouble with sunbeds, the snow doesn't slide off when a thaw begins.
dearieme - apart from the snow it's like that here, didn't feel particularly cold when I was out clearing a path to the front door.
Had a slight snowfall here in Daventry in the evening but thin in the morning and all melted away by mid day.
Tammly - it probably won't last long here, mostly gone by Sunday evening I expect.
